Thumbs up Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Like Italian cars? How do you guys feel about Ferrari's new 2+2? I have got to say it is a HUGE improvement over the 456, it pumps out way more power and looks alot more refined and comfortable.....

May be a huge improvement overall, but it looks terrible compaired to the graceful lines of the 456GT.

I like the car but hate the name "Scaglietti." That is a terrible-sounding name.

Yeah...i couldn't agree with you more, try telling someone who doesn't know a thing about cars, they just laugh "What!"

The 456GT did have very graceful lines....even after the car was introduced some 13 years ago.....but it is about time Ferrari stepped up and updated it...next up: The 420 Modena!

Yeah - the lines of the 456 was so beautiful that Hyundai copied it for the Tiburon. I think all Ferrari's are stunning. Saw the 612 at the Houston auto show - WOW!.

The best looking Ferrari to me was the 308/328/288GTO. I wish they would stick the 420 mechanicals and interior in that gorgeous body shape...

I am sure you know the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was named in honour of Sergio Scaglietti who was a master in working aluminium. He was the creator of some of the most famous Ferrari models. He worked alongside the founder of the company in the heroic early years that brought the first global successes.

Very similar to the recent naming of the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, named in honour of the founder of the company.
