Just saw on the news that they are working out a deal to bring f1 racing back to the US, and building a race track from the ground up right here in Austin!

here's to hoping it doesn't flop

my question is how did bernie come to the conclusion to pick texas over manhattan? texas is all about slow *** stock car racing and bush beer.

i bet a main reason they won the bid (if there was a bidding process) was relatively cheap land for a completely new setup

Exactly... imagine the difference in revenue demand in order to make it a profitable venture in each location.

There was a race that was held in houston a while back, but that ended a few years ago I think.
