That seems like a typical disclaimer. It basically just says all information presented may not be a fully accurate representation of the final product. It doesn't sound all to different from when most companies first release information about new products, prior to final designs and specifications.

It sounds like a legitimate start up company, but there are always risks when investing/spending money on these sorts of companies. The key is researching what you can and evaluating what you're willing to risk based on that information. Based on the information on their site, I'd probably wait until they're closer to production. I don't see any reason to immediately dismiss it as a scam.
