I test drove a 2005 CTS-V a couple of months ago. It was a MT. First thing I did when I got out onto the road was listen to that badass V8 at full throttle. GOD, I love that sound!!! However, my next thought ... This thing is supposed to be fast?!?! It's not. Maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe I'm just accustomed to the power and straightline speed of my insanely quick RX8!

I like the V and CTS in general. A local dealer has a black one. I should stop in and see what organ they would want just to take a test drive.
