Contemplating a possible build

I have a 1958 porsche speedster running the 1.6L AH(60HP) motor that I have bored and stroked to 1.8L(85HP). The engine is showing its age and its about 3500$ for a new turnkey. I am considering a motor swap to the RX7 carbed engine. Its a small engine that is putting out twice the horsepower of the motor I have now, with about the same weight. The only issue I would have is can the transaxle handle the doubling of the RPM, and where to or could I even mount the radiator. This is an air cooled motor in the vehicle. Maybe mount it outside on the top of the rear hood? Then where to put the oil coolers lol. hmmm... Oh the ideas!

Have you read up on the Renesis swap into the VW Beetle? He mounted it in the rear, so should have some ideas of the challenges of running he cooling lines (oil and water), and I think he did transverse as well.

Not the same engine or chassis, but some of the same challenges.

I have looked for information and its been done yes. I havn't found any real details though. Like engine management, I have found a super charger and carb that works for this swap. No real mention of where the radiator is, how its mounted (Under the car wont work for a porsche but will for a bug they sit a little higher).

I've seen some mount the rad in the front in a Porsche 914 application with a turbocharged rotary. It would have some extensive plumbing to accomplish this.
