Hi I have a rx8 2006 and I wanted to make sure I have the latest flash on it I called mazada and they want to charge 92 bucks to check it...is there any way I can check it myself

 

They don't need to physically check the PCM to determine your latest flash. You just need to call Mazda, give them your vin, and ask for the date and version of the last flash. Or you could simply give them the vin and ask if the latest flash has been done. This of course is free of charge.

 

what date was the last flash I saw a post similar to this one last week and made me curious someone said there should be dealer stickers on the hood or in the door jams. I looked I have one on the hood from sept 2005 but thats the only one
