I am asking the forum for a huge favor! You guys can save me a bunch of money and headache, i know some of you guys have a carfax account. For the ones that do, could you look up this vin on a 1997 Acura Cl for me please.

Want to purchase this car as my daily driver and take some of the mileage off the RX-8 and my Titan, plus not to mention gas is burning a major hole in my pocket for the Titan.

Nevermind...i stop being lazy and ordered one, long story short, the Acura Cl that I wanted to buy turned out to be a POS! Thanks again people.

Saw this 1997 Acura CL in Auto trader, looked real clean there,I swear i think somebody did a photoshop on the pictures , because when i went to see it in person, the car was in horrible shape!

The car had 69k miles on it, and funny thing is when i lifted the hood, the engine looks clean . Turned the car on and it idle smooth, revved smooth but drove like crap and shifted not so smooth, the interior was trashed as well, major rips in the leather which wasn't in the pictures,the stereo was dead, exterior had dents and dings all over the car, which wasn't in the pictures. So when i got home I ordered a car fax, and this CL been in a few accidents. These jokers had to photoshop the car, i know they had to....

Also i noticed the car had fake carbon fiber trim pieces were the wood grain was suppose to be, and my wife then pointed out to me below the "2.3 CL" badge , somebody put a Porsche "Turbo" emblem on it.

So my search continues.....

Some people are such fools. Good thing you checked her over well. I know of a few people how would have just jumped into it without checking anything.

"Turbo" badge lol, anyways that thing sounds trashed, which you would think would be unusual for a CL Acura.
