Bought a Porsche 911 (pics)
I started a thread recently asking for help on repairing a power steering issue on a new purchase in Florida. Never physically seeing the harness that needed cleaning and or soldering seemed confusing so help was asked. After days passed with not a single post, I chose not to purchase the RX8. I chose a nice Porsche 911 instead. I still think someday I will own an RX8 because the styling and performance keeps calling me. For now I will enjoy my 911. Thank you RX8 Club.com community for the help I would have got had I did purchase an RX8.

He's as bad as Can
You know putting a rotary into a 911 is not that un-heard of. Something to think about should you have problem later on.

I apologize if anyone took offense to my statements. I'll continue reading threads on how to assure the longest possible life of the RX8. The tried and true method of premixing and using synthetic has really grabbed my attention.

from his r3vlimited post
My next test was a Mazda RX8. I loved the bold appearance of the RX8 with the aggressive fenders and hide away rear doors. The 1.8 rotatory engine torque left me wanting more. The handles of the RX8 were very impressive but the lack of horse power and torque would leave me wanting more.

"not a daily", forget what anyone has said about it being used as a daily... That particular model 911 should be fine as a daily as long as you take care of it just like any other car. You might be missing out on the RX8 but that 911 is in great condition and should be fun to drive. Good luck with everything.
