Not a fan of the looks, but I would LOVE to drive that thing on a track.

 

They made an M Coupe version of the Z3 coupe, and the later ones are very capable cars. I can only imagine what they've done to this, to make it so expensive, but I'm sure it would be a blast to drive on the track.

 

They are going to release a M4, and shortly after a Z4 coupe, then shortly after that the M4 coupe.
Check out the front page of bimmerforums.com, they have links to articles on both.
The M4 coupe makes me drool.

 

They are bringing out a M version of the Z4, maybe this has something to do with that? Due out after the new M3

In fact, its gonna be M Coupe (hard top like the M version of the Z3)... i'll need to do some research into this cos that looks badass

 

we're supposed to get the M6 late this year. followed by the M Coupe, which is a Z4 hardtop/hatchback powered by the S54 motor found in the E46 M3. the new M3 (E90) will not be out for awhile. they haven't even made a two door version of the 3 series yet. there are rumors of an M version of the 2 series, but the states will designate it as a 1 series. that won't be for awhile too. we did just get news of an alpina edition of the E65 7 series which will be pushing out 500hp from a supercharged V8. that should be available very very soon.

The price difference between this car and the M Coupé equals roughly 190.000 €, while the power diference equals roughly 60 HP.

There are many many things I'd rather want than this car.

 

It's a race car, and is priced like a race car. You won't find a race car which can compete where this will compete for much less.

 

That's one damn fast clown shoe. And I mean that in a good way.

 

I've been searching everywhere for more details about it, but there is nothing out there. I'd like to know what that 250k gets me in the electronics department.

I did see one blurb that said it might make its way over to ALMS, which would be nice to see.

 

M3 is due out in Europe Summer '07 (cousin has his name down for one, and a RS4 and end of the year he will decide between both as RS4 he wont get till march '07).... so quite a wait yet, M6 is out already and M Coupe soon... end of year maybe? ... for europe anyways

The new RS4 owns the E90 M3 in every catagory......BMW better watch their back.

 

How do you know? you don't know anything about the E90 M3.
