Audi??

heres the facts as i JUST PERSONALLY MADE THIS DECISION.
and mind u i came out of a 02 325ci
With a $500 revo chip the 2.0t is making 255-265hp (revo claims 255hp but some people are seeing more) and an insane 302lb-ft. not to mention better fuel economy (my average when not caining is 22mpg in the city 33-6mpg on the highway). BMW HAS NOTHING ON THAT, personally i enjoy ripping bmwers a new one. The E46 i will defend to to the end for its incredbile road feel and just one of the best chassis/ride packages ever made. the new E90 can s*ck my left nut. Its built quality pretty crappy, has a HORRIBLE RIDE (and i own a B7 a4), and with active steering is the deadest thing ever.
If i had to keep the cars stock, i would have STILL taken the B7, if u consider that i walked out of my audi dealer with an AWD car, nav, tech pack, prem, sound, and a tip (everything except cold and S-line) for 36k before taxes, its a no-brainer. In the end u have to ask how much u love that BMW badge, for me it just wasnt enough. (btw i got a buddy with a manual e90 330i, and i ruin his day if he sees me on the road)
my first post but i just had to set the record straight.

I think all 3 cars makers you mentioned are pretty boring unless you get one of the works models. You said hp doesn't always make a car better, I agreed since the 325 has more hp than the Audi 2.0T. He got the 2.0T by the way and it's a better car than the V6 IMO.
There is a large percentage of douchebags that drive BMWs, brand snobs that could care less about the car other than the pretige they think it brings. Not saying it's universal, but I used to do trackdays with the BMW club, used to drive a BMW, and used to speak with and know a lot of BMW. The douchebag percentage is high with this group.

Apples to apples, I'd still take the 325 over the 2.0 FSI Audi. That's my opinion. I've driven all models in the 3 series, including M, as well as the A4 and S4's. Audi makes better interiors and the S4 V8 sounds a million times better than the M3, but that's as far as it goes. Driving feel still favors BMW. That's a big one for me.
Just like driving feel is way better in the RX-8 compared to the 350Z.
Your beg to differ.
I guess we agree to disagree.

Comparing that to the NA I6 in the 3'er is like me comparing my modded twin turbo Z to an NA M3. I'd smoke it in a straight line every single time.
