Since this thread was titled "Anyone own a Mazda 3?" and since there was some discussion above about the 3, that did not include phrases such as "wrong car, you worthless drooling one-eyed meat slapper" I assumed you guys might be smart enough to figure out that some people own BOTH cars.
Thank you so much, for clearing up my over-estimation of your abilities.
And some of you geniuses here were providing advice on this Mazda 3 tire issue that is clearly wrong, you even said it yourself:
yeah, that's exactly what I'm...
nah, fuggetit... yer right, I'm just being whiny beyotch, maybe one day I'll be cool enough to join your club... I dream of it every night ... I dry my tears on women's panties, and I had to buy those from Macy's cuz I've never had a girlfriend, I spend all my time whacking off on pictures of cool cars... I thought THAT was enough to be in your club... but no, you've shown me the light, I won't be bothering you mighty bloggers any further on this or any other car issue... boo hooo ....
Really? Still defining your self-worth by your vehicle? really? cuz, some of us, um, kinda grew outta that... k... Best of luck in your journey to manhood there...
.xoxoxoxo.
.xoxoxoxo.
well, u can have that special "manhood" that u got there.

I don't have this car, but my friend has it..
He is using the car since last 2 years, though generally he goes on his bike, I can say he must have traveled around 2000 km and nothing happened to it now

Crikey, there are some "ignorant" talk here..
A Mazda 3 is NO more "prone" to Tyre WEAR than ANY other car with similar Low profile high grip Summer Performance tyres (tires)..
I would say to ALL that are bitching..
1. ALWAYS have a wheels balance and then front wheel alignment when ever new tires are installed.
2. LOOK at YOUR driving "style", driving over Large Pot Holes or striking any road surface with holes will effect alignment therefore tyre wear.
3. NEVER run car into ANY Drain Curbing, even at 2 MPH to try and STOP car, AGAIN wheel alignment WILL BE put out and will need adjustment.
4. Always Rotate Tires regularly.
5....And the most OVERLOOKED issue with Tyres, and that is Air PRESSURE or lack of, or too much Air inside tires.

Wow, more "expert" advice, totally wrong... see the problem is: people have an issue, they look to forums for help, and you get people like this who have no problems pontificating with no fear of being fact-free.
Let's respond to this one, backwards... or sideways maybe...
Apparently you missed the fact that I am "bitching" about the rear tires. THE. REAR. TIRES. You know, the ones that arrive a bit later than the other set? The ones BEHIND you, if you're driving, and facing the proper direction. Those. That's where the problem is. Are we clear? Great! please stop talking about front wheel alignment, k?
Excuse me, professor? if you can tell me how any of these items will cause wear ONLY on the inside edge of ONLY the rear tires, I will eat my piano. Show me a pot hole or drain or curb that will wear ONLY THE INSIDE REAR, and I will post a YouTube video of myself playing a pink ukelele while wearing a diaper. Deal? Standing by...
wow, good on ya, that is brilliant! I would have NEVER thought of that... and looky there! it's out of gas too, no WONDER it don't run... oh what ever would I do without you?
(Blimey, aren't it amusing when someone uses bad grammar while calling others stupid? I think it are...)
Excuse me again, Professor, but your condescending assertion here is refuted by 3 reliable sources, and 1 questionable source:
1. Mazda service rep of Antioch CA.
2. Mazda service manager of a second dealership, who asked to remain nameless because they have agreed to FIX THE PROBLEM (more on this in a moment).
3. Goodyear Tire shop in Vallejo, CA.
Each of the above sources reports that the camber on the REAR TIRES (the REAR ones, remember?) is factory set such that the "within specs" camber on this car is likely to cause wear to the REAR tires on the inner edge, and this cannot be corrected using Mazda parts or procedures.
Source 4? why, none other than THIS very forum's own resident expert on garbage people and their garbage cars:
So which is it, you magnificent fountains of knowledge: is it designed to wear the rear tires on the inner edge, or is it "no more prone to ..." blah blah blah? well, save your breath a moment...
Mazda tried to tell me "hey, so it eats tires, that's the trade-off for all that ZOOM-ZOOM you're getting..." when I pointed out that it's wearing the tires only at the rear (even at the first rotation, at 7,000 miles, you could SEE the wear on the inner rear tires) they finally admitted that the factory setting CAN cause this, that Mazda parts/adjustments can not correct it. And so they are PAYING FOR AN AFTER-MARKET KIT TO SET THE REAR CAMBER IN A MANNER THAT WILL ALLOW A NORMAL TIRE LIFE. They point out that I will lose some fun/ handling, but that's what my OTHER car is for anyway...
If there's no problem with the car, why would they do that? And here's something funny: they held out and said they wouldn't do it, unless I agreed NOT to disclose that they were paying for an aftermarket kit. So officially this is not being done, certainly not at a dealer, which is not located in Northern California... nope, never heard of it ...
So my whole point now is: I wonder how many people experience this, but let themselves be told by dealers, or by "experts" on forums, this is just the way it is man, live with it, buy more tires...
ok, so next time I'm buying a "fun" commute car, I guess I have to ask if the rear suspension is adjustable (who thinks of that?) ... or risk spending an extra $1200 on tires (not to mention all the hours on these delightful forums) before finding out it isn't adjustable, and then wading thru endless "experts" telling me to live with it, before finding out that I don't have to. Ok then...
So I have this problem with my 8 ... wait, never mind... think I'll just say
G'day...

and for the record, dozens of cars out there came like that from factory. or should I say you simply don't know **** ?
