Since this thread was titled "Anyone own a Mazda 3?" and since there was some discussion above about the 3, that did not include phrases such as "wrong car, you worthless drooling one-eyed meat slapper" I assumed you guys might be smart enough to figure out that some people own BOTH cars.
Thank you so much, for clearing up my over-estimation of your abilities.
And some of you geniuses here were providing advice on this Mazda 3 tire issue that is clearly wrong, you even said it yourself:

I don't have this car, but my friend has it.. 
He is using the car since last 2 years, though generally he goes on his bike, I can say he must have traveled around 2000 km and nothing happened to it now

Crikey, there are some "ignorant" talk here..
A Mazda 3 is NO more "prone" to Tyre WEAR than ANY other car with similar Low profile high grip Summer Performance tyres (tires)..
I would say to ALL that are bitching..
1. ALWAYS have a wheels balance and then front wheel alignment when ever new tires are installed.
2. LOOK at YOUR driving "style", driving over Large Pot Holes or striking any road surface with holes will effect alignment therefore tyre wear.
3. NEVER run car into ANY Drain Curbing, even at 2 MPH to try and STOP car, AGAIN wheel alignment WILL BE put out and will need adjustment.
4. Always Rotate Tires regularly.
5....And the most OVERLOOKED issue with Tyres, and that is Air PRESSURE or lack of, or too much Air inside tires.

Wow, more "expert" advice, totally wrong... see the problem is: people have an issue, they look to forums for help, and you get people like this who have no problems pontificating with no fear of being fact-free.

Apparently you missed the fact that I am "bitching" about the rear tires. THE. REAR. TIRES. You know, the ones that arrive a bit later than the other set? The ones BEHIND you, if you're driving, and facing the proper direction. Those. That's where the problem is. Are we clear? Great! please stop talking about front wheel alignment, k?
Excuse me, professor? if you can tell me how any of these items will cause wear ONLY on the inside edge of ONLY the rear tires, I will eat my piano. Show me a pot hole or drain or curb that will wear ONLY THE INSIDE REAR, and I will post a YouTube video of myself playing a pink ukelele while wearing a diaper. Deal? Standing by...

1. Mazda service rep of Antioch CA.
2. Mazda service manager of a second dealership, who asked to remain nameless because they have agreed to FIX THE PROBLEM (more on this in a moment).
3. Goodyear Tire shop in Vallejo, CA.
Each of the above sources reports that the camber on the REAR TIRES (the REAR ones, remember?) is factory set such that the "within specs" camber on this car is likely to cause wear to the REAR tires on the inner edge, and this cannot be corrected using Mazda parts or procedures.

And so they are PAYING FOR AN AFTER-MARKET KIT TO SET THE REAR CAMBER IN A MANNER THAT WILL ALLOW A NORMAL TIRE LIFE. They point out that I will lose some fun/ handling, but that's what my OTHER car is for anyway...

and for the record, dozens of cars out there came like that from factory. or should I say you simply don't know **** ?
