Am I the only one that has been told this?

I still consider myself very new to the rotary world, but from my reading and research, I try to be strict on doing the following:
- Before driving off to work in the early morning, I get out and pull my 8 out of the garage and let it warm up for 3-5 good minutes.
- Before shutting the engine, I rev the engine gently to 4-5k rpm's, and shut the car off right away while at that engine speed.
- And of course, I never shut off the car until the engine is fully warm.

IMO Only your first one is a good idea..
Remember once the first red LED Block in RPM Cluster turns off (about 3-5 mins) your coolant is already at 104F, 2nd one is less than 158F...
You can drive off after first one is off and turn engine off at that time and at that coolant temp, I have done so for 2 years and NEVER had a restart/flood issue....you do not have to wait until engine is fully warm to turn engine off, it is just not necessary.
This revving and shutting down serves No purpose at all, plus you are also letting out more unburnt gas...just turn off at idle.
