You are no better than those fully egoed 17year old srt-4 owners over at srt-4 forum. You obviously think your rx8 is a god's gift. Even when I had my rx8 and loved it, I was always on the unbiased side even when other people were bashing on how slow it was ect. I know the goods and bads of rx8 and goods and bads of evo. I"m 22 year old and I like the whiplash effect every time i step on the gas. This saves me time and money to go ride on the roller coaster.
You can be conservative all you want but rx8 isn't the greatest as well as evo isn't the greatest either.
I bought the car not because I watched the fast and the furious and envied the movie stars, but because I loved the potential of the evo and its performance side of it more than the rx8.
And yes, I still think the rx8 is a fantastic car and there's no doubt about it.
Lastly, if you were so old, I would expect better feedbacks than thing that you spat out so immaturely. I just confirmed the age doesn't determine maturity.
I'm able to afford 36k car now. And I wish by the time I reach your age, I wish I will be able to afford much more expensive car, so that I don't have to put up with beings like you.

THANKS FOR THE MENTAL WHIPLASH BOY. I DID'NT LIKE IT. This is an rx8 forum. What do you expect? Your no longer an rx8 owner and your comments are all secondary,if that ,on this forum. Here, the rx8 is priority not the EV0. You want the fadcult buy an Evo. You want culture buy the 8. There's more to driving pleasure than kick in the pants accelleration. You gave up so much for so little when you went EVo. If your happy more power to ya. I never said I have maturity, just wisdom bro.

just because it's an 8 forum doesn't mean all other makes and models are excluded from joining or for discussion. besides, i thought you were done with this discussion?

Why you arrogant little......... You have just reinforced the bad boy image of these little tuner cars just like the movie.

It looks like a bunch of other rx8 owners are against roaddemon's stupidity as well.
At your age, I would learn how to spell. It is acceleration, not accelleration.
And it is you are or you're, not your. ROFL period.
I'm sick and tired of this guy's stupidity. I don't like stupid people.
Moderator, please close this thread.
I've purchased the evo, I have explained why and I've had many useful discussions with the members excluding this clown.

Im sorry, I just seem to have an appreciation for performance cars such as the STI and the EVO. I appreciate their history and heritage. Maybe I should buy a gay bike and post a pic of me on it as if I am badass.
Attached Thumbnails after a long debate, I finally bought 06 evo-gay.jpg

Basically, If Paul Walker picked the evo then it's the best tuner car....end of story.

Rx-8 = Slow but you'll get dates

Evo = fast but you'll masterbate( more than usual)

lol I am soooo wise!!!!!!

Realistically, what is the upkeep on those cars?

as for stupidity, I was the one who wanted it closed long ago. Now it's your idea so your smart and I'm stupid? Grow up Evilbada. As for spelling, it's a forum, and your getting my message. Do you have to grope that low to redeem your ego.
I believe most rx8 owners are on the main page and far away from this thread. It was over after all the interesting tech info on the car ended. Nothing more to say.

As for you Mdaj. It's better to be badass then dumbass or tunerbadboy (which I am not). Some day you'll grow up to be just like me and realize I was right.

PS I still look damn good on that picture. No ugly cars for me.

Why would I want to be a dumbass who base his lifestyle and car choice upon what others view it should be? Maybe you should stop resisting the urge and grow up.

No AYC on the American Evos yet. Some will tell you it's because of cost and others will tell you it's because of reliability issues. Neither is correct. In order to fit the AYC on the Evo it means replacing the 11.5 gallon gas tank with a 7 or 8 gallon tank. Americans would freak out at that. Yaw control would be cool but we really don't have the same type of narrow and uneven roads that Europe is famous for.

Upkeep on the Evo is not like a Honda Civic but it's not as bad as I was expecting. So far all I've had to replace are the stock tires at about 14k miles. If the moron at the Mitsubishi dealership who rotated them at 10k miles would have warned me about the early signs of uneven wear he must have noticed, then I probably could have squeezed another 3-5k miles out of them. As it was I replaced them with some slightly cheaper, slighly wider, and equally sticky Falken Azeni 615's for about $800

Next on the list of routine maintenance is replacing the factory front Brembo brakepads. I haven't heard any squeeking yet, but apparently 20k miles is the magic number. New front pads cost about $150. The rear pads are good for another 50k miles. I've gone pretty easy on the clutch too, but as I get closer and closer to 400hp at the crank I'm sure I'll be replacing that too. Figure at least $1,200 in parts and labor if you go with a good aftermarket clutch. Fortunately Mitsubishi offered free 5 year scheduled maintenance on their '05 models so things like tire rotations and fluid checks and changes are taken care of. I think that's about it though. I haven't had any problems with the car yet...thank you Jesus...but it's not a bad idea to set a little money aside just in case.

I can flip the script on you faster than you can flood your Wenkel on a cold Milwauke morning, because my daily driver is a Buick...

When are you gonna finally grow up and replace that RX-8 with something more representative of your age like my beautiffuly refined luxury sedan? LOL. Those girls at Starbuck's aren't staring at your sporty RX-8 dude. They're laughing at the bald spot perched on the loose nut behind the wheel.

There is definately a generation gap here. Generally image is choice by a person to reflect what he is or what he wants others to see him as, cars/bikes are big image indicators. I'm simply too old to carry the evilbada badboy tuner image. It would not work for me. I'm happy you guys have more choices. All we had was the talon/eclipse awd turbo. It was not a dependable car and Mitsu. did not acknowledge the turbo related engine problems it had. The evo is fun. If it's right for you now, go for it.

I'm a mortgage consultant and work for washington mutual while almost completing biology degree and starting on business degree at the unversity of maryland. I hardly picture myself as a badboy tuner. I just love cars. One thing I hate is an ignorant old man who has narrow vision. And if you have such class like you claim other than street racer badboy tuner like me according to you, you should have a better car than the rx8. Try mercedes SL55 amg, or porsche kind of thing. My boss drives a bentley continental GT coupe and he doesn't brag about how classy his ride is.
You would come out and brag how classy rx8 is compared to evo.
Just sad....

Gotta love it when you correct other people's spelling, make a post bragging about your job and education, and at the same time make it obvious to everyone else that english isn't your first language.

First you brag for yourself, then you brag for your boss, then you call me names, then you hate me, then you misquote me( regarding the 8 and EVO). All this after you say your not a badboy tuner? Then what are you? I'm sure your boss does not hang out at forums either. When you grow up I'm sure you want to be just like him. I'm sure that's just a Bently continental away for you. False pride is a sin.

Yea, let's do that.
I'll just stay neutral from now because I don't want to get banned
As much as I like my evo, I'd like to hang around in rx8 forum and see how things are progressing because I love rx8s too.
So let's not argue like bunch of retards anymore
