Actually, I did buy one. Its exactly similar to that one but with several other options, so I had to order one. I just wanted to post a pic of what the car that I bought looks like. Just wait a month and I'll have pics of MY car to post.

I love the z, but I don't like the wheels they changed to for '06. I think the wheels they were using for the last few years are much better. Those wheels only look good on Mazdas. Now everyone seems to have something that looks very similar.

I actually love the new wheels. Thats one of the reasons why I like the 06's over the previous years.

Thanks for sharing dude. The Z is a worthy alternative.

And you like the wheels because they are similar to the RX8's. I actually like the semi-shiny look to the Z's wheels; same semi-shiny look such as the G35C's wheels. I wish they had that option besides the stock flat look and the chrome/black chrome option on our cars.

For those of you who made comments about the pics I previously posted, here are ones of MY car I took delivery just about a month ago. Already have about 1500 miles on it, and I love it. It'll be nice to take my parents RX-8 for a drive and see what the differences are. Anyways, here are the pics:

The car is already burning a whole in my pocket just to keep gas in it. I finally got through the break-in period, and I'm getting to experience the powerband above 4k...its nice! I'm afraid to check the mpg for my current tank, its not very good. And with 93 octane running @ 3.25 a gallon, this is going to get expensive. Plus, I'd like to get used to the car before I start modding it too much. That way, I can actually feel the gains.

Nice ride, I'm a big fan of those wheels they're putting on the new Zs - they really make the whole car look 1000x better, imo. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks. I totally agree with you. I'm glad that they carried these wheels over from the previous year and decided to use them for the different packages. I hate how the car appears lighter in the pictures than it does in person. My parents have a winning blue rx-8 and I was very suprised how different the cars looked in person. The wheels on the Z are much shinnier, wheras the wheels on the 8 seemed more of a silver. And the blue on the Z was a darker shade of blue. I must say, that they do look amazing next to each other. Two great pieces of engineering.

Nice car. What level is it (enthusiast ?). I was really looking at it in 04' (convertible touring) before I got my RX8, but the interior was just awful. They definitely upgraded it recently. I like the rims, aren't those the same as they had on the 35th anniversary ones last year ?

Yeah, its an enthusiast. I think thats the best package for this car. This has to be the best cloth that I've ever seen on a car. Thats why I chose it over the touring, and the bose in this car sucks. Its not nearly as good as the system in the 8. All of the minor changes for 06 were worth it. I could have gotten an 05 for a little less, but to me, the changes made it a much better car. And yeah, these are the same rims as the 35th anniversary. Which I do admit, sucks for the people who payed all the extra $ for the 35th, and then get screwed over the following year when Nissan decided to use those as the standard wheels
