2006 350z

Well guys, I know I havent posted much here, but I have been browsing and reading for about two years now. I was able to sway my parents into buying a 2005 Rx-8 last August, but when the time came for me to get my new car, I decided upon something else. Being single with just a girlfriend, and no signs of marriage and a family for a few years down the road, I could easily live with a 2 seater. And besides, if I ever wanted to drive the Rx-8, I can always swap with my parents for a week or so. :) So anyways, I know some of you were saying how bland the styling is and how heavy the car is, but I think it looks very nice and it performs pretty darn good too. I really like the little changes they made for the 06 model. The only downside is, I have to wait a few months (1-3) for the car to get here. I decided on getting a 2006 Daytona Blue Enthusiest. I LOVE this color!! Once it comes in, I'll be sure to get some pics of it along side of my parents Winning Blue Rx-8. Here are some pics I took of the color in a different trim (base): (sorry for the blurry images, it was COLD that night)

mysql101 02-27-2006 10:22 PM

You guys must be blind. Thats great pic of his car in a typical PA snow storm.

BlueEyes 02-27-2006 10:22 PM

RotaryRider36 02-27-2006 10:24 PM

The one Al Gore invented.

ZoomZoomH 02-27-2006 10:26 PM

silly n00bs, you can't direct link webshot pics

BlueEyes 02-27-2006 10:27 PM

That's some audacity camaro. You're clearly parked in a NO PARKING zone. Had the car for 10 mins and he's already acting like a jackass with it. hahaha, j/k. Looks good, I like that blue.

I think you're searching for the term, 'hotlinking'. But it depends on where it's being hosted.

Just be glad they're not sending goatse photos instead..

Typical Z owner...

mysql101 02-27-2006 10:31 PM

I doubt it's his car. Since his is arriving in a few months...

Fixed. And yes, is not MY car, but the same one that will be ariving shortly. This was the first time that I was able to find a dealer who had that color on their lot and I needed to get some pics of it and to see it in person before ordering.

You could say that. I just wanted to show you guys what the car that I just bought looks like.

tiggerlee 02-27-2006 10:45 PM

I really wished Nissan would've painted or redesigned those door handles.

Raptor2k 02-27-2006 10:47 PM

Wow, I haven't seen a blue Z for hours!

camaro194 02-27-2006 11:05 PM

They are actually kind of rare around here. Believe it or not, but I just saw the first blue Z coupe in Pittsburgh the other day. I have only seen 1 blue convertible so far. And the same with the Rx-8's. I have only seen 1 other blue one besides my parents. There arent too many cars like this around here (Z's and 8's). I maybe see one or two a month if I'm lucky.

ZoomZoomH 02-27-2006 11:10 PM

you're in pittsburgh that's why, out on the coasts these cars are everywhere :p:

tiggerlee 02-27-2006 11:11 PM

Maybe not in PA, but their a dime a dozen in Florida. I see at least 10 on my daily commute to work and back.

RotoRocket 02-27-2006 11:18 PM

It's a nice car, and a nice color.

Neither Zs not 8s are at all common in Michigan. Since getting my 8 in late September 05, I've seen maybe two or three 8s, and maybe 5 or 6 Zs.

I am of the understanding that Nissan seriously upgraded the fit/finish and material texture quality on the Z interior lately.

I really like the front end.

playdoh43 02-27-2006 11:29 PM

congrats dude, daytona blue is my favorite color for the Z also. im glad you got an 06 with the rev-up engine (you did get the rev-up engine thats only on 6mt models right? not an automatic). now make sure you drop 400 bucks for Motordyne's MREV mod. it will give you +20-25whp and +30-35wtq. Then youre pretty much on even ground with mustangs GTs and M3s :) unfortuantely thats about the only cheap mod for our engine that gets good power. if you want it any faster youd have to drop rediculous amount of money :(
