16x Start up
I hadn't ever heard the engine run and I don't think this has been posted here before so enjoy:

I didn't know whether it had an engine in it at all but in fact there is some sort of rotary breathing in there although lacking proper exhaust. It's supposed to be the 16x so I'll take their word for it.

Yep that's definitely a rotary. Much deeper tone with a crappy exhaust but definitely a rotary. It doesn't sound like a 3 rotor either. It just sounds like a deeper 2 rotor which is what it should sound like.

it doesnt sound great, but it definitely sounds like a rotary. I'm surprised at how much deeper it sounds though. The exhaust needs a little tuning to take the fart out of the exhaust note.

very cool, so would a three rotor be even smoother than the two rotor? More balance and overlapping power-strokes or whatever, etc?

They've always claimed it had the 16x in it but have never shown the engine at an auto show. I'm not sure why they would make it with an engine if they aren't displaying the engine at any point. I was really shocked to come across this video last night.

Very interesting. I didn't realize this even had an engine in it, and even then I would expect it just to be a normal Renesis. But this really sounds exactly like how I would expect for a 16X without a production-tuned exhaust, so perhaps it is indeed the real thing.
