Exactly, the Focus is more of an up-market car over seas then the ****-on-wheels they sale here and would cost more. The constant excuse is that Americans won't pay decent money for a premium or higher end small car (or a hatch back) but I think the times are finally changing. What scares me is that I also read last week that sales of the US Focus (which is still based on the one released in Europe some 5-7 years ago) is up, so knowing American Ford (and there idea that they can fool the public with trash covered in fresh sheet metal w/ SYNC thrown in which obviously works) they will push any replacement of the US car based on the current Euro Focus back even more.

Anyways, the concept pictured looks great but then again I think the Euro Focus that this car is based on looks great even in lower trim models.
