I just thought of this the other day...since countless people believe in cold air intakes
say if you re-routed the A/C fins for your cabin to pass through the intake manifold first...then you can probably lower the temperature of the air in there by 30 degrees...
just an idea. but somebody tell me if this could work or not

You're better off building a "pocket" for dry ice to sit in the intake tubing pre-MAF. This is going to lean you out, perhaps too much for the ecm to compensate. Nevertheless, I wouldn't reccomend it.
The use of the A/C is redundant because it draws power from the engine to turn the compressor. So....no, it's not worth it.
Even still, the gain is going to be so small, and vary greatly.

The IAT goes to -40F
I wonder if it would actually chill the air past that -40f

The extra power will produce extra electricity from the alternator, which will produce extra current for the starter motor, which will produce more electricity which will produce more power ==> lightspeed with a billion mpgs!

When I was NA my butt dyno did say +1 for cold air ... but thats the butt lol

Sorry to spoil your secret project, but I think pointing all the stereo speakers backwards will be a more effective "boost".
I really shouldn't be making fun, but most of the last effective original ideas to improve the IC engine probably were had before 1950. Many had to wait for better electonics, materials, and manufacturing methods to implement, others remain, but none so far violate the laws of thermodynamics.
Fiddling can be fun though. Good examples are found on ecomodder.com

You can also put black nasty over the exhaust pipes to stop the tiny horses from escaping.
Putting hay into the intake feeds the horses so each horse is worth 1.1 horse power giving you 10% boost in power.
