I wanted/did this as well, I asked for feedback, but got very little intrest. All I can suggest is checking on ebay or the junkyards, as I could not find a vendor. Take a look.. good luck

Baking headlights...

After getting the headlights off the car, remove all metal screws and lights. Preheat the over to 250 degrees for about six minutes then place headlights in the oven, on the bottom rack,do not place them directly on the rack use piece of cardboard or something now metal.Take them out after 10 minutes and try to pry them open. If you are unable poop them back in the oven for another five minutes, that should be plenty of time to let the glue warm up. Oh and dont use anything sharp to pry open the headlights as it could make make a hole in the plastic headlight.

Do the reverse when putting back together. PM me if you need any further help...

I actually did a google search for lense's which was fruitless. I got my clear lense's from a member from hidplanet.com. You want a clear lense with no rings. The perfect swap would be a lense from a honda TSX.

Projectors vary in size & shape, same goes for the lense's. Lense's also vary in focal point. By the way the projectors on the RX8 utilize a 2.5 in lense.

Pic of the RX8 projector shield... cut the bottom part off, removing the w shape part, as it is limiting the amount of light coming out.

go with 3m

Just went to a NAPA sale and there were some people from 3m there. They had 2000 chevy truck that was used up miserably and they made the lenses look like new!!!! I believe it was no more than 175-200 bones. They now have a contract with mercedes and they charge 90 dollars a treatment. The kit comes with 10 treatments. The kit is a must buy!
