Updated: Baked headlights...

After opening the headlights and messing around with the projectors. I modded the cut off shield, put in a clear lense and viola. These are now in the for sale section of the forum, well kinda. If anyone has any question PM

That's my screen name yesterday's date & both headlights

Pic of the stock HID headlight before

And after modded headlight.

Remember that is just one light; now imagine both firing off at the same time. I sure it at least doubles the light output.

I modded the cut off shield. That is part of the projector that allows the light to pass throught the lense. I also switched out the fresnel lesnse with a clear one.

That's a cool mod! Is the new lens going to be reliable? Is the light still sealed? Can you think of any down side to this mod?

I don't know if your swap plan from the other thread will work for those of us in Canada...

I'm sure it would, although I have never seen the light output of the Canadian headlights. A lense is a lense, just better quality and it is clear, thus the better light output. I learned form the best on hidplanet. And unless you don't know what you are doing then becarefull...
