Mazda Rx8 2006 model

Hi Jimmy,

I saw in the papers that some of the PIs are already selling the RX8 2006 model.
Does WOW carry it too?
What is the difference from the 2005 model?
How much does it cost approximately?
The PI that I called says that it will be in only in May 06.

Hope u can answer my queries cos I am currently looking around to buy a RX8.
Thanks.

Cheers,
Goh

Jimmy, kindly do not spam so much. We already get the message you are from WoW.

Just check with a few PIs 2 days back. Currently what they are selling are the 04/05 models. No needs on 6spd AT yet.

miki got foresight mah... Anyway, miki... it really depends on what you are planning to mod. Most of the mods can also be done on the 4AT, but perhaps some of the "power" mods are not designed or optimised for the 4AT. However, if it's the power mods that you are after, then I think you'd be better off in the 6MT anyway.

Hello Miki... you have driven an automatic car before? YOU don't exactly shift the stick a lot unless you park or drive or shift to neutral... every now & then, you reverse... Unless that is considered fun?

Can anyone share how does the pedal shift on the sterring work?
If driving in Auto-mode, can one just use the pedals to shift up or down?
Or must shift to Manual-mode first (from stand-still), then can use the pedals?
Thx.

Anyway guys, if u opt for the auto, their is a tiptronic gear shift. If you want could play with it,i believe it will be more fun other than the pedal gear shift on the steering wheels.

Yup...u need to shift to manual mode first then u can use the Up and Down pedal. But it's still lag when u use the Up down shift. The only thing is that u can change the gear whenever u like...not like when it's in auto mode maybe until 5k rpm then it will auto change to another gear.
