sepang with the evo club

just had an exhilarating day at the track.........
althought the event was organised by the evo club, quite a number was from other makes...

would like to ask those who went tracking, wat's the peak on their guages.
my water temp max out at 120, mostly hovering around 105, while original car's guage is almost showing half scale but alas the scale show no freaking numbers.
do you know where your mechanic positioned the sensors?

oil temp peak at 105 but was mostly hovering around 95.

oil pressure peak at 6.

anyway the evos and the rexs were freaking monsters especially on the quarter mile race if they had wings they would have taken off

damned we need the super charger or turbo kit to squeeze more juice if not cmi

anyway there's more track sessions with traction circle on the 6th nov and another on the 15th of nov with a sg group.
sign up if you wanna know wat your 8s can do.

don't worry about the straight runs we can still chieh some in the bends....
like a few of the ep3 with na engines making the evos pieseh :D

i suspect it's the position of the sensors.
tapping from the inlet before cooling or at the outlet after cooling or bloody inbetween.

then again these are profossional mechanics who probably followed the manual a hundred times.......

i will ask him when i go fix up my oem air scoop to direct more air. :D
