Seeking advice: New car purchase in SG - from PI or MM?

Hi everyone,

Am new to this forum, so I hope this has not been a frequently discussed topic.

I am looking to buy a new RX8 and am considering between purchasing from a PI or from Mazda Motors. I would like to purchase from a PI cos of the lower price, but I have heard of many horror stories about late delivery, over-promising and under-delivery, horrendous sales service, potentially poor aftersales service, etc.

Would appreciate getting some comments on experiences on purchasing from PIs as well as purchasing from MMs. Thanks a lot in advance!

wen pin: second-hand z4 and brand new S2k were my original choices, and i almost bought a S2k, but did my math and i think i cant afford them

audi tt is a fantastic car - and even less affordable

always loved the styling of the RX8, but didnt consider it initially cos yes, too many on the streets

coupe07: yes, am looking at the manual 6 spd - i'd prefer a manual car

6sp manual...

r u looking to mod the car or leave it stock?

if gg to mod, go for PI's JDM, source for the cheapest deal...

If leaving it stock, go to MM.

many threads in the forum on comparison between MM and PI.. just search around. cheers. But to note that MM is likely to bring in the 6AT middle next year. so i guess depends on your timeline.
