Hi All,

I am wondering if by the chassis number, can you tell when is the Car manufactured?

My PI trying to convience me that the car is a 2004 import (used) but i suspect it's a 2003 model. How can I tell? The Chassis number starts from SE3P-124XXX. Any Bro number starts before the number above and it's a 2004 model? Please share your thoughts.

If im not mistaken..... last five digits shud start with x16xxx if it were a 2004 model......

 

My chassis num is SE3P-1160XX. Car is manufactured in Jan 04.

That's good info, where did you extract this details? ... My Mazdaspeed version is definitely 2004 batch SE3P 1174XX ;-)

mine is 127XXX but date of register is 2004

 

Mine is the six batch SE3P1315XX (manufactured in 2005) but I register my car on 11 Nov 2006.

I have a question and i hope that u guys might be able to help me. I'm looking at getting a rx8 mazdaspeed version 1 (04). How can i verify on whether the car that i'm looking at is an original one?

Not just one that the dealers mod themselves and market it as a factory manufactured one. Its been months me dealing with this problem.. i really hope that someone out there can give me a point or two. i have the chassis number as well...
