For the group buy, whether it is allowed or not, let the Mods speak up please. Moderators, you guys are the one's with power, so please once more help the noobs here, post the rules/regulations again. Thanz

I see no wrong in organising group buys anyway, good for all 8 owners here.

Kindly refer to the group buy rules set out by moderator "BOOSTD 7" under the group buy thread.

- Do NOT start a new thread unless approved by Omicron or BOOSTD 7. You can contact Omicron at admin@rx8club.com , or BOOSTD 7 at advertising@rxtuner.com

- There is a one-time set up fee for all Group Buys, payable before the Group Buy begins. The fee is very small, and you will not be charged anything more, no matter how successful your group buy is.

- After approval, you can then post your Group Buy and it can run for up to 6 months. You can link to the Group Buy in your signature so it will be seen across the forum, and you can refer interested parties in other areas of the forum to your Group Buy thread. We want you to be successful!

- Any Group Buy started without approval will be deleted without notice.

Thanks,
Ryan Scott

Maybe a paying vendor can start a grp buy, but i tink the rules set out are pretty clear cut. No need for mods to step in, or else we Sporeans will be accused again for not understanding basic english.

Lets not flout their rules. If not, another saga again.

Thanz for highlighting, honestly didn't know where these BS T&Cs were in the Forum.

Cool Contact Omicron.....

CoupeGuy is right, just contact Omicron and get it set up officially, then you have your own Group Buy thread and support.

We kind of let the Eastern guys run their own show, post 'For Sale' items locally etc., stuff the rest of the world doesn't get - but an unauthorized group buy would not be allowed......

Sorry guys, I had thought this was only to gauge interest.
As Japanparts is a vendor, we can PM Graham to start a GB on this on Japanparts' thread here.

Thanks to you all for your consideration

A Group Buy would require us to quote a "48 States" delivered price; and that would disadvantage West Coasters because you would be helping to pay for East Coast deliveries; also our loyal customers in Malaysia/Singapore/HK/Europe/Australasia will feel left out ( we ship to 50+ Countries )

I also doubt that KENSTYLE can make more than a few Kits a month; so I would have to restrict the GB.....

What will work Best and is fair to Everyone:

PM me and let me know:

(1) the Part numbers you want
(2) Feel free to "mix and match"; eg if you want a Mazdaspeed front Bumper with KENSTYLE side step Pair, that's a Can -Do
(3) We are shipping to where ( ? ) Zip Code/Postal Code/Country?
(4) By Air, or by Sea? ( Air is quicker but more $$, Sea takes longer buy less $$)
We can quote for both

I'll talk to the manufacturer and let you know "How much and How soon"

I'll research the canard and foglight cost and list those in the next couple days

Best

Hi Vince;
that's at, or near Bloomington IN

Your freight is sent Fully Insured.
To Door Bloomington IN, by Air: JP ¥85,898.00 +US $710.78

I've quoted to Singapore 6 times this week for the RX8Club and always got "Oh, we have to pay TAX?" as a reply

Suggest: Please consult Customs department your side for tax rates + if these are *reasonable* PM me for a quote

We are quite close to Singapore so surface shipment ( and we have an excellent freight rate to SG ) only adds about 10 days

Oh: And did I mention? You have to pay TAX your side......

Hi,

Can we confirm that you have the correct calculation?

I think you've added the 3item set to the individual items ( effectively quoting 2 sets?)

Hi Graham,

Just to side track a lil bit, I've got some points from my last few purchases,
these points can be used as discounts for future purchases.
where can i redeem these points specifically in your website.

secondly i got sumtin from yr website a few days ago and i noticed that apart from the item price and shipping charges, there's a surcharge...
what is this surcharge all about and if i'm not mistaken ,
it works out to be like 10% of the purchase item.

also, there's quite some interest in racing beat stuff over this side,
are you representing them on an official level like a dealer or if we
have any racing beat requirements, will you be able to give us a price?

lastly, will you guys be giving rx8 club members, club membership discount?

regards
peter
