Price was quite steep for a replica, is it full kit with wing?? People don't judge high quality fibre with just waviness, it take times to show it's 'true color'...... Don't be fooled by the primer, everyone get their goods in good condition..... If the surface is smooth, it's due to good workmanship, but not necessary a high quality fibre......

Try to compare Japan and Euro Fibre, they're so hard and long lasting, some can even withstand forces of collision...... My BMW's AC front splitter have been used and scratching around KL humps and ramps for 3 years, not a single crack...... My fren's INGS bumper got hit, but only paint scratched no crack....

That doesn't mean all fibre in Malaysia is crap, but i would tell you 7 out of 10 are shitty....... Choosy people like David get his replica side skirt to replace damage one, threw it away next day becos the paint won't stick and wavy..... Well that was looking smooth without waviness b4 spraying....

So far i only admire one shop in Ipoh, owner only do custom and the quality beats lots of japanese company..... Those fibres can be bent, no sign of waviness after 5 years......

Most cars went in there n come out 4-6 months (some 8 months) later for GT widebody, non-widebody should be faster...... The boss, Ken ask for total cooperation and never push him, he doesn't allow others to copy his creation, so your car would be unique forever...... So if you can wait, he won't mind...... Price at least 5 figures, plus the mould.... Location at Bertam near Ipoh NS highway exit...... Now Ken is doing a GTR monster.... Thus the shop name: MONSTER GARAGE.....

CSL, he do any sorts of car...... Talk to TeamAdvan a.k.a Taikor Lam from ZTH, he's main supporter and promoter.....

Agreed, also high quality dosnt only look at surface but also construction method, some original parts are made up by 2 or 3 piece, but replicas tend to take the short cut way and make it a 1 piece construction, which is crap

why cant they do a good job if they wanna replicate... if its good ppl will pay

They can't do a good job is because they hire cheap n not well-trained labour from Bangladesh and use low grade fibre..... Those workers work in clouds of fibre dust, no proper mask for lung protection, very hazardous that i believed some have lung tumor growing oredi..... Pity.....

Greedy owners want to reap maximum profit, not customer satisfaction....... This suxx.....
