fuel consumption is like full tank can drive about 400km left right, RM110 per tank
maintenance is not a problem, not much money, just like normal car does, but when comes to rebuild engine every 80,00km - 100,000km, is quite expensive, i duno how much it will cost... perhaps, all sifu here can tell u later...
ya, and u need to understand wat is RX8 and rotary engine in RX8... i think thats all i can answer...

hmm... but the spare parts for RX8 is very expensive ?? b/c I planning to buy a car, dunno buy civic 2.0 or RX8 recond. For civic 2.0 is around RM130k, and RX8 is like around RM140k. But when comes to maintenance fee, I really dunno which 1 to choose. For personal preference, I really very like RX8, i hope i can own RX8 in my life, but i dont want like own RX8 for 3 months then sell it b/c of cannot afford high maintenance fee. If spare part of civic compare with RX8, is RX8 spare part alot expensive than civic spare part ? e.g.: spare part for civic is RM100, spare part for RX8 need RM300 ?? and honestly, i dunno what is rotary engine...

After a l(ooooo)ong wait, I finally changed my rims. I'd say this is long overdue (blinding obvious, forgive me).

I dedicate this photo to lennon, for his lack of faith in yours truly's desire of modding. O ye of little faith...

I reckon, if you are seriously considering the RX-8, you should read this thread from start to finish. Yes, most of it is just talk, but you can find some very useful info inside.

What spare part are you talking about? Like any other cars, major parts costs thousands. Your concerns are unfounded. You should be more concerned about the reliability of the rotary engine that you are not familiar with. You can get a brief understanding of it here: http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com/index.php

Routine servicing costs about RM300-ish, if you use rotary engine oil. Again, that can be explained by reading.

If you wanna take a closer look at the car, and get a better understanding, join the weekly meets the members have. They are a very friendly and helpful bunch. Good luck.

Fox, by right if
  1. you service it every 5000-6000km
  2. don't over-revved the car
  3. start up the car nicely before revving
  4. then let it cool down, do compression testing twice a year
  5. rebuilt engine when compression is low
  6. solve check light immediately
  7. Don't starved the fuel tank

You'll enjoy the car very much, but i must mind you Renesis have shorter lifespan then piston...... So get a car with low mileage and good compression....

Actually the rims flushes just nice with the fender. Falken sidewalls gives the impression that the rim juts out. Also that picture was taken at an angle to show the spokes slightly. Will post better pics soon.
