As most of you know, our workshop as been closed for renovation for sometime. Any inconvenience is truly regrettable but the good news is our workshop is now open at our new premise just 2 shops away from our previous location.

Hi all, I have just found out about this site, and was wondering if any of you knows a good mechanic or shops that does good work on rotary? My car is giving me some problems, firstly wiring issues, when I accellerate some sort of weird sound coming out of the console and speakers, some sort of humming sound. Suspected earthing problem. Not sure.

The second thing is, my car is losing power, and it is at 64K KM already. It is serviced regularly and the car is well maintained. Now, don't seem to have the torque anymore, and the worst thing is when I shift to high gears, 3rd and above, when I rev it, there's a hesitation when it reaches 4-4500rpm, then it went off after reaches higher than 4500rpm.

The third and final problem is, when the car reaches 110kmh on fifth gear, the dash and steering seems to rattle and shake, and the car seems to be dragging.

These are my issues, and my car is stock, no mods at all. So was wondering if any of you guys here know a decent and good mechanic that I can go to diagnose and check my car out. I have been using those normal service center near my house in Hartamas. Not sure if they know what to do or not, to this level.

My diagnosis: engine mounting or ignition coil gone...... Humming sound might be from spark plug cable...... Normal service center is good for normal oil change and that's all..... Give Ah Choy a call 0192736362, his shop is located at USJ......

Question One , is the rx8 recon unit has any different with the year, as example like 03' 04' 05' izzit the same? i knew that 06' auto has 6 speed, but below 06' izzit the same specs?
Question Two, Anyone know where to get this spoiler / brand name / price ?

 

1. Slight, 04 onwards got electric seat, and some other aesthethics. No major changes.

2. MazdaSpeed spoiler, few shops in Sunway sells the replica I think. Ori must order.
