just got the member brace + rear strut bar installed a couple of days ago and here are my thoughts after bringing the car out.

I am not a fast driver, neither am i a tiong driver and i am not one who will go around saying this good that good. Good i will say good...no good i will say no good.

I shall do my review based on the 2 items together as i believe such products must go hand in hand.

Initial feel of the car while driving normally is that it feels tighter than usual. making normal turns at normal speed...you can actually feel the car turning as one instead of head...body..then tail. Maybe it was psychological effect.

Then took the car round my normal roads with some twisty turns to test how good they actually are. Without the brace and rear strut, i always feel that the car, although well balanced, is always losing its tail too easily(oversteer) and the traction on the 4 tires are not as good as what i want it to be. quite a bit of tyre screech.

However, this time round, i went at the same speed (but making sure my feel of the car is the dominant factor)...as expected...the chasis was tight etc...but the real deal was the way the car moved during the corner. It has more traction (i could feel the traction on the 4 tires were more well distributed this time round), car was not as shaky as before during corners as the tail was kept in check (probably due to the rear boot bar) thus reducing a bit of oversteering.

after familiarising with the new mods, i went round the road one more time, this time pushing it a little harder to make sure it was as good as it seems previously. Emphasis this time was on steering response as i was pushing the car a little bit harder.

The feel of the car by now is much more responsive. Sort of like point and turn kind of situation. Unlike previously where i feel the car is somehow sliding out (when its not), the car is very obedient now. I actually thought i have uprated suspension now. The feedback from the car comes in very early. In other words, you can throw your car into corners but the car will try to assist you in clearing it (but of cos dun throw into the corner and pray..that won't work). tyre screeching by now has already been reduced due to better traction.

This member brace and rear strut bar will not make your car any faster...but it will make you appreciate how well the car can handle the roads. Of cos other factors play a part during my testing. My sway bars performed its task by reducing roll during turns and i already have the front strut bar done as well.

To summarise, the products have done what they were supposed to do. Sharper turn ins, better traction, bodyflex reduced, car is more balanced and to me most importantly, the slight reduction in oversteer is a good bonus.

The final icing on the cake would be to have a nice set of adjustable suspension to stiffen the suspension and to dial in the adjustments but thats another story.

You all should know who to look for if you are interested in getting them.
