Bro sakit kepala la, since the trust rotary oil is so expensive. if last time still ok la. now i have extra oil cooler, although when drain cannot get the oil out, but still need 2 X 4litre to rotary oil when service ler. its more than 4 litre and less than 6 litre now when change oil. RM400 *faint* somemore will go in company account *faint*

 

Boy, you should stingy about the oil....... After installing the additional oil cooler, you still oni need 4.5 liter to fill up...... 5 liters of trust oil is RM200....... That sounds ok, wasnt it......

 

Apparently LINKS over filled my oil the other day....... Shud i drain some of it or wait for it to "Dissappear" LOLZ...........
Any adverse effects if Renesis motor has too much oil?...............

 

having yam cha session with my friend, it remind and recalled me that i actually used shell 20W50 before, it was put in my car at the 1st or 2nd oil changed, i found that the car sound much more rough, and engine knocking sound. according to a mechanic it was due to the different oil mix when oil change, it will go away after a while.

not here to proof anything but would really learn more 1st cause i am thinking of going for 20W50 mineral shell.

so u guys out there having loud engine and engine knocking ? or its smooth like cream? how about the respond?

10W30 is definitely giving slower rev but very quiet engine, smooth.

Boy, engine knocking is not gonna occurs with simple oil change......... Engine knocking happens when there's insufficient AF, mainly too lean...... If engine knocking really happens to your car, better change the apex seal straight away.......

 

wah sai em sai ah ~? only when i was using 20W50 wo, when just change oil. now using 10W30 no more already.

when you first got your 8 have you experienced speed cut at 180kph?

need to remove the speed cut man!! really anoying.

 

get the speed limiter defender from wangan.

 

how does it work and how much?

 

you can use SLD to remove if yours is MT or AT without immobiliser + DSC.
AT with DSC still can but immobiliser + DSC cannot.

 

abang, tak faham la. what u mean by immobiliser + DSC. i mean how do we know got or with out immobiliser? i thought all car got.

 

err... If you have to buy one then that means standard don't have lorr.. If your car come standard with immobiliser then got la.

to know if the car got immobilizer i think you have to look at your dash warning signal icons, turn on your ignition switch, and see if there is a "KEY" signal icon, If yes then Yes you have immobilizer, if no then you dont. Clear? hehe
