Malaysia RX8 Database
Guys,
Anyone using a premix in their fuel? I came across the Idemitsu Rotary Premix and am wondering if its any good. Premix's are said to help combustion (less carbon deposits) and lubricate the Apex Seals.
Motul also carries 3 versions of the Semi-Syn (Ester) based engine oil. Heard that Ester helps to lubricate the seals. I'm using 20W50 Mineral Motul now on the 8.
Any comments?

....msia got no Winter ...so...supposedly we arent suppose to choose that low (e.g 5W)..........
however..in Msia...the climate is fairly hot and our engine also very hot....if u use viscosity of 30, then the oil will be too thin for the engine to pickup. So...its advisable to get a thicker or "heavier" oil....
well...thats my 88 cents la........
Anyhoo......Happy Eid ul-Fitr everyone!!!!!!!!

..and drive safely.........

Boy,
Go to this link.
http://www.motul.com.my/product_line...4stroke23.html
Proof of a 20W50 Mineral for you
Moreover, I think viscosity is thinner when the numbers are lower.
