Im osso thinkin of turbochargin my 8....... After a month owning it, all i can say is that its a far cry from my previous FD3S....... The FD was a much better car in almost all ways, except maybe in the comfort zone and interior built quality area........... Drifting and doing Donuts is WAY easier in the FD...........

Need more power !!!!! I bought my 8 cause i love all the Rotaries that Mazda has produced so far....... Bodyshape is soooo sexy (thats what my wife says anyway.... reminds her of my Rx7)........

SGD11k = RM25300.. .... There's two more options actually, buy the RE kit from Lee, let Links tune...... Or let Mr. Ichishiro from Auto Select tune for you.....

Option:
A) Get RE kit and let Links install & tune = approx 21k
B) Get Greddy Kit with HKS VPro install locally, tuned by Ichishiro = approx 23k

But must sacrifice abit loh..... Cant drive for few weeks.....

The original apex seal is weak.... Thats all....... Use the RX7 seal or even best, the 3mm ceramic seal.... with correct tuning nothing wrong can happen.....

Yeah.... I'm doing experiment on RX7 seal.... Aussie say it wont be a problem..... i got 3mm seal but no one knows how to machine it..... So have to send to Aus...... ....

Anyway, how come the turbo kit cost so much in SG? The tuning and installation shouldn't cost that much I think. Anyway, here's the price of the kits if anyone wants to order. Also some other stuff.

1. Greddy Turbo Kit RX8 MT = RM1340 x 12 months (I see some guys with AT Rx8 having this kit, can ah? ).
2. RE Turbo Kit RX8 AT = RM1650 x 12 months (Need to trade in your stock ECU)
3. Blitz Super Charger RX8 AT or MT = RM1605 x 12 months
4. Autoexe Exhaust = RM308 x 12 months
5. Autoexe Bonnet Damper = RM98 x 12 months
6. Autoexe Strut Tower Bar = RM75 x 12 months

Ya i asked the quotation from MG for the RE kit, theirs very complete, but too much of a hassle, so i settled for the blitz supercharger kit.
