Got one small question ive been meaning to ask ya'll........ Is it normal for the stock oil presure gauge to stay at "just above half" when engine is on ? My previous FD stock oil gauge would move when i rev it up and drop when revs go down......... Rx8 seems to stay put...... Maybe its coz its NA.......

 

Its normal, according to someone in the forum, dun remember who, our car have oil press gauge have less indicating point/level than aftermarket ones. thats why it doesn't move around. while i think everyone have the same level as yours slightly over half.

 

actually pg got more then 30 baby 8 here ,you should refer to first page to get boony phone number(he is taiko tai tai) ...we always meet to yam cha with sportcar 'fat siu yao'(R34,S15,FD,SUPRA,NSX,EVO.....) ...hope to see you soon....

 

*Tip of the Day:

if you have an O2 phone, or a phone that is similar in size. u can actually clip it on to the ashtray compartment when its open. there should be a piece of sponge/paper like sheet sticking on the ashtray door. open the ashtray door, put your O2 phone horizontally, it fit the shape of the hole. it will be clip firmly by the sponge/paper sheet if u push it a bit to the left.

although O2 comes with only a 2.5 each screen, now u can play mp3 (if your player doesn't play mp3), watch video, surf the net and make phone call with out hand free (cause it have a speaker phone function) with it touch screen panel. KAKAKAKAKAKAKAK

Was just wondering....... what fuel do u ya'll run? Me, ive been experimenting on the power difference between Shell V-Power and Petronas Primax3....... My DynoButtMeter feels a noticeble power increase together with a distinct change in exhaust note between the 2 fuels........... V-Power is closer to Japan's 100Ron fuel rating........ Problem is, finding a Shell station that has a freshly replenished batch of V-Power in Klang Valley (its expensive...so sales r slow)....... However, this is not the case in JB.....coz, Singaporean car owners more often than not chose V-Power 99Ron over the Regular 97Ron........
Anywayz, this is my view so far....... Been using V-Power since it was introduced....... Used it religiously in my Civic (till the whole fuel funnel turned BLUE......hahahaha...........

Anyone has a different opinion? I'd like to hear another perspective on this matter......Hence the Post here.........

i almost wanted to start another tip of the day message here.
i had been trusting petronas primas 3 for the pass 3 refill after i changed my plugs. noticable power but the 3rd refill only gave me 280km, where by the previous ones give me 400-350 full tank, don't tell me its the driving method again, cause they are all in the same city same driver. i am sure there is something wrong with primax 3 that make the milage differ.

now i am using shell unleaded. testing the milage. will not go back for petronas yet.

 

Stalled ?? What happened ? So far, "touch wood" ...... never happened to me b4....... Still wary though whether this fuel suitable for our car......... What bothers me is, the exhaust note between the 2 fuels is VERY different......... Power & Sound better @ V-Power but dunno long term effect....... Primax 3??? All i can say is its "CHEAPER" (enuff said) hence more money to do mods....... Dun really like Shell Regular cause it makes my other car sluggish ........ (new formula).....They shouldn't have altered the formula
