lennen...i got 1 q to ask arr.... i just change my ekjos<<<dont know how to spell>>> last few days...but i'm facing with this prob...i rev up my engine until the beep sounds before i change my gear, but as the engine revs down, some knocking sounds came out from the engine...why is that????

Cooler has the same function, it cools any fluids that flow thru....... But if you bought the mazdaspeed oil cooler, you can't turn it to ATF cooler because of the different hose......

Conclusion is choose either one......

For the remap, you have to send PM or call Coupe07 for booking, or ask Yohji to help.....

What eksos is that?? It might be something like this IMO....... You have get rid of your cat right??? Normally NA cars need exhaust back pressure to keep low end torque........ Remember that Manual 8 have this S-DAIS system....... There are 4 major valves that dictact the air flow........ These valve are opens or close at following RPM: 3750, 5500, 6250 & 7250......... As the engine revs down, Valves will close one by one, thus the eksos flow become less.... but becos of the straight flow midpipe and better flow muffler, there's no cat to slow the exhaust flow (means no back pressure)...... so you lost low end torque......

But you dont have to worry, becos this can be overcomed with tunning......

 

Members are planing for RE-Amemiya ecu remap in October...... If interested you have to register with Coupe07...... Cost from 1k to 1.5k

Due to popular demand, RE AMEMIYA has decided to do a remap on original ECUS for fans here. However due to time constraint, they could only do a limited number. I already have 8 cars on hand for this. PI cars need this reflash more than the MM cars. This is a good opportunity as there is only minimum downtime for ur car. Only takes a while to do that.

1. Speed cut removed
2. Rev cut increased.
3. Fuel efficiency increase. (Varies from person to person)
4. Temperature reduced.

The Feed ECU costs Y 52,500. That's about RM 2k. Has anybody tried it yet? Believe it's for NA tuning.

 

Goober where can get this ecu? had been searching for one.

 

look at this web: www.fujita-eng.com....... Remember that if you bought a pre-tune ecu from japan, thats not gonna work well here........ besides that you have to sent your ECU to Japan.......

 

It can be done.... It would have slight disadvantage than those who does...... but better try to ask coupe.... he can tell you more than i do....
