Hey, just wanna check with you guys, cause yesterday i bought the mazdaspeed exhaust and the blitz air filter from wangan, after installation seems like the car abit malfunctioning. do you guys have the same prob? at first once i install the both. the skid light came on and dsc off light kept blinking. then after awhile its gone. I really dont know if there are any problems. the car vibrates a little more now when the car is coming to a stop. Yesterday when i tried to open the car doors with the alarm. the doors didnt want to open. so i opened it manually, the alarm came on. luckily suddenly the controller worked again. Any1 faced this prob before? and i feel the mazdaspeed exhaust is abit noisy. those of you with louder exhaust... do you hear diffrent sounds at diffrent RPM's? its like when it reaches 5k+ rpm the sound is like double. I really hope for all of your honest feedback cause im really worried. THX

...if vibrating then ..its a sign to change the engine mounting loh......
exhaust feel a bit noisy??...aiya...if u want silent then just use the original one la....hehehe
....u will hear adiff sound at diff level of rpm....even if u in diff gear u will notice.....
i guess that the 1st and 2nd gear will be the loudest....except when its above 4k....that sweet mother of rotary sound....

The dsc light will appear when you disconnect you battery....... It's nothing big deal.....
When you mod exhaust and intake together, it will affect the Air-Fuel ratio...... Original ecu can correct the error, due to it's ability to readjust to it's pre-programmed setting..... idling will wooble a bit..... Give it few days, your car will get to normal.......
You say the exhaust is loud?? It's just too soft dude...... Perhaps you have taken out your cat........

Yes i found out its bcoz they disconnected the battery. i did it at jfa and they didnt know what was happening. thats what scared me.
the mazdaspeed 1 is abit loud la. and i havent took out my cat yet. maybe gonna do it today.
anyways thanks for all your feedback, lennon and bing. you guys still up for the pulley thingies from wangan? the RM580 1. Im interested too. count me in. btw should i remove my cat? does oil cooler add to performance? please count me in any mod you guys are planning to go for.

Wood, Original ECU is too advanced and sophiticated, it wont allow the setting change easily....... if you use the Blue E-manage(16 bit), you might face rejection by original ecu(32 bit)........ Therefore RE-Amemiya recommended Redom Mini or direct ECU remap....

The oil cooler does add performance, but you need it for better engine life span......
