tolorati, best rates and most reliable would be my contact at NAZA, as we all know they have alot of political backup, which means... they wont close overnight... which equates to you can always get them back right up their noses if the car aint to you satisfaction. give me a call at 012-2315671 or PM me. I can bring you there when both of us are free, ill intro you to some1 there where he will take care of all your requests.
P/S: I dont earn anything from it, just thought of doing my close fren in there a favor by introducing more customers to him as he has made me really happy to buy the car from them.

Does the Japanese nav system work at all in Malaysia? Is there any map available here? Does anyone have a translation for the control switches?
The radio seems to work on some stations in KL. Is there any way to get it working properly?
Where can I get an owner's handbook in English?
Thanks,
Andrew

on the radio, you just need to install a converter. cost about RM70-100 in sabah.
Nav i dunno anything bout it.
No sat nav doesn't work. There is Malaysian map available, but I'm afraid it's not as simple as swapping the DVD, I have discussed this issue with a few people.
The radio works for stations below the 90.0Mhz frequency. You can get yourself an FM booster, which you will get some stations, a cheap alternative, or add a separate headunit (ask Mr Bing), or order a new headunit from Mazda (ask boonyloh) or replace the headunit with an aftermarket one (ask shortshortman).
The owner's manual in English is in this forum somewhere. Search.
Here's a pic of the control switches.

...if u want to print it,its thicker than the dictionary...this one is the US version.....some of us has the aussie version........if u want to put booster,..it tends to distort if u r drving near places full of trees or full of building.....the next choice is to put aftermarket unit under passenger seat or near the cupholder...and they will link to our standard player...for example....our player will be at 87.7 hz....and to change to other station,u just change it to the aftermarket player...if want to put under the seat, better have a remote for that or put a remote near the dashboard.......i did this at uptown...
or...put the aftermarket player at our headunit...but a small cut/mod have to be done la....i think the place at kelana jaya kot....not far from the lrt....lupe la name of the shop....
