Autoexe header not LTA compliant. Dun mistake JASMA is a LTA compliant tool. All exhausts from japan can be accompanied by a JASMA cert so long as the company register with JASMA. However LTA does not recognise most JASMA certified exhaust unless they comply with local rules.

ANyway, to put things in perspective, de-catting or changing a high flow cat is LTA non-compliant, regardless u hav JASMA or JVIA or any high authority certs. Modding ur car is always at ur own risks. U wan loud loud and good performance, u have to take the risks.

High-flow cat, normal smell and probably won't get asked to visit LTA especially if you have cert. If this is not enough to convince you not to de-cat, take note that de-cat will almost always cause a CEL in time to come.
Flyer is 110% correct.

Lets put it this way...the smell is so strong that it would probably mask the scent of dog **** right in front of your face. Besides the fact that puffs of smoke would be visible from your exhaust as well. There is absolutely no way that you will get away with it. I could think of 1001 ways to spend that $500 fine that you are certain to get bro

Rei is right about high-flow cat improving the low end - car really feels more responsive and the exhaust note changes completely! BUT i don't think it does much to filter out noxious gases. Engine running, you stand behind load groceries in boot for 5 mins, confirm get headache siah!

muffler wif an Autoexe header that actually comes wif a jasma cert (So I suppose
it shld be legal)...

Anyway, the tried n tested high flow cat are the KS metalit super cat which I've
seen alot of bro using, the RE high flow cat, the R magic high flow cat, the HKS cat
(seen on the rx8 bible b4) n I think a new cat by Sard which I happened to
chance upon on the net but not sure if anyone is on it yet...There might be more
but this is approximately all the cats from tuners I've heard of...
icic,
oke the RE highflow sounds yummy..!
heheh

Today I was driving down the PIE towards Tuas and had just merge into the junction with KJE when I decided to floor it after noticing the light traffic.

I was delighted to achieve 200kmph in my 4AT after last mth's remap before easing off after catching up with front traffic. Before remap, it was 185 max. Can't wait for another go hopefully without any obstruction and see how fast my baby can really go....

Good advice. Will try it on my next KL/Genting trip. Had many cars before but the RX8 is by far my favourite ride. The handling is simply superb.

I'm sure they have the *****.. coz usually they are full of testosterone from all the grovelling people do in front of them. But the point is, do they HAVE to chase you. Radio waves travel much faster than 200km/h. Think confirmation of your licence plate number could be all that is required. Bottom line, don't do this at home (country).

Ahahahahaha so true so true. What to do? We are brought up this way, brainwashed in school and face a ridiculous amt of fines as adults or maybe even jail time if you speak ur mind only to have it thrown back in your face as inciting a rebellion.

I wasnt implying anyone should try. Your career and future hangs in the balance mind you

Gotta hand it to the powers that be tho....society has been repressed for damn long time now and the best part is 99% of the population think its normal. Go figure eh?
