cutoff of the 4AT to 8500.

$750 for a speed cut and to programme the fan to on earlier! Why not just rewire and on the fan all the time. Should not cost more than $20.

$1200 can buy you a good piggy back and specific vehicle tuning.

I agree with coupe. fr my experience, you wanna do, do sui sui, esp for rx8. this is not like zhnging a mz3 or vios at manz or some othr two bit shop.

you can afford it, do the remap. cannot afford, dun talk **** about some 1200 piggyback. if its so simple, wait for you to do piggyback meh? all the lao chiaos wd hv done it earlier and dun even need the expense to fly down japs.

just wanted to add that, IMO, the standard of car tuning in singapore is low. sometimes i really wonder if they know what they are doing or are they just following a set of instructions.

Better yet, why not go to Autobacs and buy a fan, plug it into your cigarette lighter socket and aim it at your engine. Should not cost more than $20 too?

I was soooo looking forward to KS coming down but having to send my ECU to JP for a week is gonna be a bit of a bummer. Guess I'll have to take taxis for that week!!

 

1200 will not get u a piggyback with reliable tuning...at least not for a rotary engine. I already spend more then tat and I am still monitoring my tune.

 

til date, i have ard 2 MM cars sending their ECUs over. intend to send over on the 2nd April. MM cars who are interested, pls hurry....

1st, if u do a yen conversion for the advertise price of the KS 4 beat ecu, u
wouldn't complain how much they r charging for the remap in spore...we're
actually paying less (Again, correct me if i'm wrong, guys.) Look in the 3rd page
of hyperrev rx8 mag for the advert n do a conversion n u'll noe wat i'm talking
abt...

2nd, ur choice of words seems to be abit on the aggressive side...As far as I noe,
everyone juz say that monster is well-verse in rotary...did u heard anyone say
monster is the best garage in this world n they r well verse in engines ranging
from straight 4s to W12s? Wat most pple did was to recommend monster when
someone comes in the forum n ask if forummers here noes of a decent garage
to service their rotary. So that's lackey according to u? Why? Would u prefer
it if everyone juz kept quiet when someone ask? Wats the point of everyone
hanging out in the forum then?

I guess wat I'm trying to say is everyone came in the forum out of their own
free will...pple who recommend monster doesn't get a single cent from

We are looking at speed and rpm extension,
the fan activation is the last benefit on our mind.

as for me, i have my own expirence why im starting to trust MG with rotary engines... they really know their ****... trust me... i believe other garage might know abt rx8s too but not as much... maybe basic mods...

so Silver Shadow, i believe ur 8 is not done at MG rite? or maybe u dun even own a 8... hmm... anyway this is the INTERNET... u can say whateva u wan to here... coz u are hiding behind ur own comp.. =)
