this is damn interesting. however, the following requirement would rule most of us (inlcudg me) out:
7) No previous un-cleared traffic or other offences in Malaysia, which would delay your progress in the event.
nevertheless I would be checkg my schedule for this.

GT-Rally Rescheduled
hey guys, i've been informed that the event re-scheduled to 3-5 November 07 due to Sepang track resurfacing. Organiser opened up a few options as well, let me copy and paste what has been posted in MINI forum:
Finally! The 1st drive adventure event in Asia, called GT-Rally. Some ammendments to pricing structure to make it more attractive for all to go. Thank you sponsors! Its an exhilarating drive event which would be done in Gumball 3000 style.
3 Days, 20 Cars, 1800kms, Luxurious hotels, Crazy parties everynight, free flowing alchohol, Scenic routes, Breathtaking locations, Fabulous cars, Fantastic people and a blast in Sepang F1 Track.
Date: 3rd - 5th November 2007
Rest Locations: Kuantan, Damai Laut, Sepang Track
Resorts: Swiss Garden country club & spa resort.
Day 1: Singapore to Kuantan
Day 2: Kuantan to Damar Laut
Day 3: Damar Laut to Sepang (track practice)
Sepang to Singapore

hehehe..with the 8s? 110 is MINIMUM speed limit lor.....last time my cmi small car went up with them for sepang also whack 150/160 minimum liaoz.......
