Lets hope that this "feud" will really come to an end tonight! Its been way too long since the RX8club had a good meet with members tcss, exchanging friendly views/comments on mods etc, rounding, makan session, CS session... This is a RX8club forum, not AMG forum. If I wanted to join an AMG forum, I'd have gone to buy myself a SL55.
Anyways, as I said, let this childish bickering end! No more not-so-subtle **** stirring. No more **** stirring of any kind, subtle or otherwise! I also feel that those involved who have said things they shouldn't have, should make a public apology on this forum for their behaviour/comment. We are all adults (or at least I hope we all are, otherwise we really shouldn't be driving) as far as I could remember, only kids in lower primary and younger did any name calling or made insulting comments on one's size, height, (length/girth)... This kind of behaviour is uncalled for.

Rx8ster.. the issue has been archived why bother to bring it up again.. why so small gas? If you wanna be an adult, forgive and forget OR youll be reckon to be one of the small primary school kids like what you suggested, dont you agree?
Most of us who have contributed to this thread look forward to see genuine smiles from people like your kind self to conclude the episode. I agree that this childlike behaviour should cease but Only positive remarks contributes to that bridging and I honestly doubt that ur summary of the feud at this juncture is worth 1 cent.

Funny. I read and re-read my post, but I just couldn't find a summary of the feud. I knew that when I was typing my post, my intention wasn't to summarise the feud, so I sure hope that it didn't sound like a summary.
Anyways, please also point me to the sentence(s) where I did any finger pointing.
Thirdly, in my post I associated small primary school kids with name calling and degrading insults to one's physical appearance, not with the inability to forgive and forget. So even if I had appeared to not forgive and forget, it doesn't mean that I'm behaving like a small kid. But FYI, there is nothing for me to forgive and forget, as till this stage, no one has called me names or "burned" me (to my knowledge), and neither was I involved in this feud.
And to end this post on a lighter note, don't worry, I'm not small gas. Have you ever heard my fart??? Trust me, its not small. And don't worry I won't burn you either. But do beware, there might be an explosion if you stand behind me with your ciggy or a lite match when I let go of my fart.

Anywayz, last night was fantastic I felt, great meetup great runs and great fun.
I believe tensions have eased for most, especially for those few of us involved in the initial brawl.
Sqflyer, great talking to u again, and we can laugh it out together again.
Coupe07, great that we can have a freindly non-hostile chat again and talk about the 8s and timings done on the launches as well.
For the rest of the bystanders, think we will appreciate since issues have softened, we don't need anymore bringing up of past and summaries (In a crude way, its none of your business all the while anyway)
Oh yes, great meeting u too Daverx, finally get to see the Moderator himself, its an honour really for alot of us. Like you mentioned, hopefully more regular and eventful meetups in the near future.

You know I think you're a nice guy, but sometimes your snide comments on this PUBLIC forum does offend people, and if you had no intention to publicise this matter then maybe all your issues should have been settled privately.
With this I hope we can just close the chapter and lets all just move onto something more mature.
Anyways, back to the topic. Yesterday was fun too. We should have more meets like that, with the old birds. Like how Kenny was reminiscing.. I miss the good old times..

Yes, it was an enjoyable night and thanks to everyone who contributed and participated, especially to the key members who have shown the sincerity to put the past behind. It was a good 1st step and we should just give it a bit of time to blow over. We may not enjoy doing all the same things or eating supper at the same places, but that does not mean we should have different factions. Anyway, too big crowd at the same place for supper oso hard to find parking and table/seats. Actually, this thread is not the 'hostile' thread so I vote to keep this thread to remind us of the good ol' times as was the purpose of Kenny's original post.

Had to make an early run to resolve my empty stomache, do my Cinderalla stunt before my CO finds out im out playing and turn me into a Monkey... so id redeem my free round of Teh o Peng next time.,,kekeke.

The turnout was good. Thanks for everyone's supportin turning up for the meetup, esp such a long time. I tink missed some unfamiliar old birds yesterday. Our resident mersing man, JETBLAST, was with us yesterday. He was one of the super old birds over here. U guys ought to noe him since next time, he is the man to bring us for rounding in msia.
Of cos, impt man to thank is ngkenny. Nxt time meetup, u guys noe who to look for.
as for runs, it was to let u guys noe ur cars better. fast or slow, it doesnt matter. Its a rx8, u shld noe how much to expect from the car.
Daverx, u next time hang on for a longer while mah.... we waited for some hiao kia to
"facelift" his car then went to run some errands before we turn up at kallang. They told me u say u will come for the next meet. So next meet u may not be the first to turn up, but u must be the last to leave.
All in all, it was a good turnout. Hopefully more old birds come along like last time. Mr Kukumalu, where r u? U MIA for a pretty long while!! Dru8999, long time no see u too. Naughtyboy, colinnus, many many more.
