hi RX8sters, anyone here ever installed any bodykits from kaze in paya ubi, ubi ave 1 b4? i kinda find their prices abit steep. but is it due to really the better quality that they have or what else? views please. thanks

they have replica kits for Mazdaspeed and Veilside.... yes, supposedly better quality.... BUT replicas being replicas, their fitting is fucked up (ooops, sorry) and joints are uneven. waves will tend to appear after 1 year too many.... for the price that u r paying for this supposedly better quality kit, u r better off paying a bit more for an authentic kit.

Trust me... many many bros have fitted the replica kits.... and it just isn't quite there yet. I tink Cannavaro can give u a better picture cos his kit was once the Veilside kit.

RX8 just dun deserve a replica kit... It juz dun go well..... my 2 cents...

i have been there to looksie. Not too bad the carbon stuff there. In fact, i tot the QC not too bad. However, didnt c any full kits there, so i cant realli comment. As far as the displays, they r not too shady....PASS

I guess I can contribute abit the Veilside body kit was not from Kaze.

Cannavaro bought his kit from the same source as Sqflyer.
and the quality is very lousy.
Although replica is will never be as good as the original ones. but I had seen both and bought both (from Kaze and also from the seller that sold Cannavara n Sqflyer's bodykit) . Kaze's replica is still much better.

There are guys who think original is the best , yes I agree when it comes to Quality,
but if u wish to save $$ on a replica do not expect the same quality. U have to give and take.
If u wish to save money, Kaze's replica is still more value for money,

It's all down to the finishing of the product and the fitting of the product... F & F.... Personally, Original, replica or custom one off it all comes down to the finishing and fitting... if a replica has good finishing and fitting, like that guy who did the ken style kits for Mazda 3 at commonwealth lane. He converted the japanese FRP to PU (Some of you might know), the kits had excellent finishing and pefect fitting. Though Replica, it is better than the original. Too bad he only makes kits for mazda 3. For our 8s... haven't seen a good replica on the roads here yet, wavy finishing, chip paint at the corners, uneven lines... Well....install any kit you want, just make sure the finishing and fitting is good....

I just got my RX8 also..went to kaze and saw the replicas.not too bad.another shop my friend intro me was Dash Outfit, but apparantly their kits are really lousy. The I saw a post on delphi forums http://forums.delphiforums.com/singa...Reading+%3E%3E
under General Discussion: "Lousy bodykits from dashoutift". got a shock of my life. Imagine a bumper splitting into 2 pieces while travelling.gosh.think I take the advice here and stick to originals.
btw, how much does an ori kit cost?say mazda speed?

Hey CaNNaVaR0... I just saw your ride near your place (nasi lemak store) last night... the passenger side bumper kanna bump, the paint all bunched up and the headlight washer cap missing, now got masking tape over the hole. Other than, 4 wheels looks ok, windows not smashed, and you got some racing emblem pasted on the boot... I could not get a good view because got people pointing to it when I was walking to my car.
