Aftermarket Audio Devices
Any of you fixed additional cd/mp3/dvd players into the 8? I was wondering if it is possible to tap in the audio as Aux for the addtional device instead of using RF signal thru our default radio player which is not always clear. Guys, any experts to help in this?

Do a Search on PIE Aux input. Thats the best way to get a Aux input into your HU.
Also do a search on HU upgrade and DVD upgrade and Avelectroncs install DIY.. those threasd have about all the info you need.

i'm not too sure, but the stereo guy's going to do all that for me. he's already installed 2 Rx8 and it's been successful. Since the head unit's going to be in the cup holders, he's going to put an additional remote control on the steering wheel. I'm also getting the iPod interface, which is easier to integrate with aftermarket units like Alpine.
