bro, I went down there today to check it out. I believe you were told the same thing..."This car PAPER plus BODY is 75k!!! BODY ALONE is 24k!!!!"

Needless to say, I asked for a 5MT BODY value currently park at level 6, black and only half that cars' mileage. If 24k, I straight away pass him my key ballzzzz! Too bad the so called exporter shy-ly told the sales person, "Tell him because his is a manual, no value, 20k max!!" Can you believe it??

Knowledge on the 8 and buying a used car are 2 totally different things. On the 8, there are plenty of guys in this forum who will be willing to share if you ask. Coupe07 and gang is one good example.

I didn't get anything in the end, happily drove my 8 home after the trip there. Was there to help a friend look for a car, and reason why I asked was to indirectly educate them not to spread such a ridiculous BODY value figure just to boost the price of the car up and make it sounds so lucrative to buy.

Well, like you said, all BODY value qoutes I received so far for my 5MT are sightly better than 4AT. And bear in mind BODY value are figures good to know when you buy a car, ultimately it matters only when you export your vehicle a few months/years down the road. It's always a function of demand vs supply, higher demand = higher body value.

Not too sure...but I think 22k +/- a little bit should be the more reasonable. That's my guess...
