I agree; to a certain extent. There are almost no rights for consumers in SG. Even if there is, its hard to get any recourse. This is not limited to the dirty industry of cars. Look around. Not only small players dirty the market, even big names crap on us consumers.

Been following this thread, so can someone tell me who the good PI's are?

Planning a purchase soon and don't know which PI is reliable. Also, do the PI's have the 6MT or just the Auto versions.

Hi all...took ur advise.. went to book a 5speed with another PI. so far checked the price he give quite okie. hopefully by nov can get my ride. without a car is like a aging man who is balding .. damn depressing

 

PI 6 speed need to indent cos most of them carry auto and 5 speed manual.

As to PI, have to say WOW despite the recent IU incident. If u do sign, make sure IU is new.

then how u gonna settle with the PI for the 6mt matter?
let him off so easily?
should at least get some compensation or report the matter to CASE.

 

i reported to case. but apprently they dun really have the power if they are not member of case trust dunno wat. cos they are not from govt bodies.. i jus wanan faster get my car also la... afte checking with my lawyer he say this might take up to 6-7mths. like that jialat man. so i give up... jus take my $$ go else where to buy.

 

And after 6-7 mths and $$$; its doubtful anything is achieved. Thats why i said consumers have no recourse and only have limited rights (which are hard to enforce anyway)

And likewise, buisnesses also have a problem against payment defaulters. I encounter this at least once a year and its a pain and a hassle to make a legal claim.
