For those of you who have placed an order in the UK, what colour have you chosen?

 

Just thinking back to half hour ago at my dealers the official order form which I personally saw on the computer did not give an option for red/black or black leather, it just came up with the option of leather.

Bit worrying that, I's sure it will be fine.

 

Maybe red/black leather is the only option with the Red, though I thought I'd seen somewhere you could have black as well.

Yes possibly, some of the guys in the forum will be cheesed off, specially those who wanted different steering wheel and door panels.

I don't think you would ever be able to order your car to this sort of detail. You probably can in their home market of Japan, but Mazda UK will simply say, 20 of red with leather, 10 black with sat Nav and leather etc, and they'll tool up manufacture in advance for this.

Good job we want red with black and red leather then!!!:D

 

I agree that detailed specification of a car is unlikely. I did ask about having a plain black steering wheel with the red/black interior a few days ago. When I spoke to the dealer today, he said they don't think that they can do that though. Not a big problem.

Don't know about only having red/black interior if you have a red car. It's what I want anyway, but I always thought that black was an option.

I'm waiting for green or at a pinch, blue because I don't like any of the colours on offer in batch 1. Britain is grey enough so why add titanium.

OK , not a majority , but certainly v popular... !

 

I think the choice was always going to be between the red and grey. What eventually swayed me was the red flashes on the seats which I did not like (IMHO too flash) and the red/ black steering wheel which would annoy me.

But I do think the vel red will look superb and very sporty.

Just ordered a blue...

 

That was my initial preference but did not want the wait. What date are you looking at taking delivery?

Blue was top of my list as well, untill I found it wasn't available in the initial batch.

I'll probably switch to a blue one if they ever release a higher power version / special edition.

Love the blue, although you might get kids thinking your one of the X-Men for a while.:D

 

Well it's hard to say when the blue will arrive but the consensus seems to be late this year early next. I had a real battle with myself over the colour, cycling through blue, titanium, black, red, titanium, green, blue again. Should have trusted my instincts. From what I can tell it's a real 'electric' blue which will be nice. The X-Men car is darker.
