Great shots! I agree the Titanium looks great, but I'll make my choice between it and the silver when I see them in person. I hope the lip spoiler will be available in the states. I think it looks better than the wing.

Effectively, I have make the tour of all the salon and it is the only car where there was a lot of people around all the afternoon.
The photo which you posted with the tan leather is the first I see which reflects the real colour.

Thanks Mark.
Thought I'd be bored by now but just can't get enough of those pics of Velocity Red.
Looks a bit orange in these pics under bright lights but more of a blood red in daylight.
Cheers

I was at the show on Sunday and what surprised me about the red colour was how very metallic it was under the artificial light.
This is what makes it look lighter in show pics than outdoor shots. If your view was perpendicular to a panel it picked up dozens of overhead lights and reflected them in all kinds of odd orangey, pinkey, burgundy shades. Looking along the car or at a panel that was not directly reflecting the lights, it was a lovely rich blood red. This is how the car should look in daylight and I love it.
The red interior door panels and seat inserts were a completely different colour though, very pale and orange looking. I am going for all black interior anyway but I hope the production interior is a better match for those who chose it
Cheers

Rob,
Thanks for feedback. It's blood red I'm after as per the picture above. Dissapointed with your comments on interior as pics I've seen look good.
Do you have any pics showing the true colours?
What was your impression of the car? Does it look good and live up to the pictures and expectations?
Whats the space in the interior like? I'm 6'1 and am worried about headroom.
What's the boot space like?
Cheers

Oilman,
I think the red will look great but when considering ordering that colour did worry about the interior. If it is the wrong colour will look a naff boy racer spec. Can you still change interior or will you have to put in complete new order?

Sorry but I didn't take a camera, largely because I have seen hundreds of pictures but still couldn't work out exactly what the red looked like.
I think the leather on the seats was OK, but the interior door panel just looked much lighter than the metal on the sills, door frames etc surrounding it. Could just be a preproduction show car that has had a hard life.
I am only 5'9" so had no problems in the Titanium car, which had a sunroof fitted. I think you would be OK at 6'1" with the seat adjusted all the way down. You might stuggle to fit a helmet on if you plan any trackdays though. Back seat was very comfy and less claustrophic than expected.
Overall impression of the cabin was good, comfortable, high quality materials.
Boot was bigger than expected but rather an odd shape.
This was a LHD car and there was plenty of room around the pedals in the driving seat. When I tried the passenger side, the transmission tunnel seemed to intrude more and push my feet over to the right. Hopefully this is reversed on RHD cars. I got some very odd looks sitting in the passenger seat pretending to heel and toe on invisible pedals.....

There was an ex-Fangio Maserati 250F on display at the show in a similar deep red. Not like the orangey Marlboro packet red that the Ferraris run around in now. It is a great colour.
As for the inserts, I think they will look fine when sitting in the car, it was just the contrast with the surrounding metal when the doors were open that surprised me.
Cheers

Thanks FR7 and Oilman for posting those interior pics, this has confirmed my suspicions that the sat. nav. ruins the look of the dash board. Initially I was keen to have it but on seeing a Mazda 6 with it I began to wonder.

Sorry , no other pics but i am just back from Geneva .
Don't be worried about the red colour ! Just amazing under
the autoshow lights ! Not orange at all . Not totaly blood too .
The paint is full of sequins(? paillettes in french) .
That's why the real color can't be seen on pictures .
Titanium grey is beautiful too .
The blue paint is also very metallic but i don't like so much
blue cars...
The car looks great , more compact and better proportioned
in reality ! I think that there is enough room for four 1m80(like
me) adults . The rear accessibility is not always very good
because the front seats can't bee advanced from the rear .
The interior design and the shape ere excellent .
The trunk is much bigger than the FD one but the opening
(ouverture in french?) is a quite small .
Aniway , big interest here , everyone wanted to go inside !
I think that the RX-8 will be a huge success !
If you want want to take some good pictures , ask a seller
to go upstair . You'll have a drink too !

These are the first pics that gives the REAL view of the front profile that I have seen. From the other pics the front didn't look so squaty and low, I love that! It looked taller in previous pics. OH I can't wait, there is an auto show in Ottawa next week hopefully the 8 will be there!!
I love the tit grey although I thought the tan leather was lighter, I'm not really liking the dark brown look. Too "old" for me, the red interior looks like a logitech race wheel for the PC.
