mazda UK update - Delivery LATE October
Spoke to Mazda today..... YES confirmation that earliest expected delivery is now LATE October.
Also expressed my bitter disappointment at being kept in the dark. Prints/books aside (as i cynically said... this is some kind a sweetenner because they knew this was happening). Suggested that in order to keep those of us pre-orders that they notify us regularly (yeah and i am dreaming if thats likely to happen)
I wanted some sweetener for the car when it arrives i dont know what at the moment as i havent seen the accesories available. She said that it may be feasible but as she is just a supervisor she cant say for certain.
Taking a deposit in Feb and coming up with the goods in October is asking for rant and raves as i told the wee girl.

But considering the ***** up we have seen so far plus that fact that we are now dealing with Mazda and will later be talking to the dealers we may not get anything. Why should the dealers loose out especially if they think that the car has great demand and our order can be easily replaced.
It ain't looking good and that is why getting some response from Mazda now is important, even getting them to agree on sweeteners would be nice.
