MarkW - Any news ?

Well - no posts all day from any of us....

Is this what it has come to ?

MarkW - What news from the hyper-efficient public relations department of Mazda then ? I assume they completely ignored your questions ?

Rael - 3 days ? I think your dealer was mistaken (unless you all have your intro packs and that is why there is no posting...)

Oilman - You dead buddy ?

Morgan.

Yep, got mine! It's really cool: there's a pop-up holographic image of the RX-8 in the colour you ordered, a free rotor shaped key-ring, a model car with a real tiny working Renesis and stereo, a DVD of your very own RX-8 being built (lovingly) in Hiroshima, it's hand delivered by a truly beautiful Japanese girl and there's a 50% off discount voucher because we pre-ordered!!!

Errr, hold-on... no... that was the dream wasn't it. Actually I'm still waiting... IMPATIENTLY! Not a bloody peep out of the Mazda company. Even Dixons have better customer service than this (yeah, alright, they don't but you know what I mean).

Meanwhile I'm number 63 on the 350Z order list (of 450) just in case!

Angry

Glad to know I'm not the only person who has been ignored by Mazda UK. 2 weeks after ordering on the web and not even a letter to say thanks for my money.

Hope the car is better than the customer service.

But hey, at least after finding this site I don't feel alone anymore.

Okay Morganrogers I understand but let somebody talk to them directly and get some idea what the 'f' is happening as clearly information from the dealers may not be 100% reliable. If you got the number call them, otherwise if I am happy to if I could be passed the number.

I am not sure if Mazda Uk do read this forum, I have seen no indication of that (European forum that is).

Dont have a number.
Dont remember anyone having a number... only some e-mailboxes. And we already know they are ignoring these.

We have been told in previous communications that they read the forums.

But they also said at that time that they were not permitted to post on the forums. Company policy.

Try calling them.

Things are getting a bit desperate arnt they!

Checked the pre-order website to day, and my order status is still set to 'Submitted', although my details have been fixed.

However my E-mail addresses have been entered incorrectly so I tried to correct them myself. Guess what, the website still crashes when you try to do an update!

Mazda how long do you need to have my money before you accept my order! I know you've only had my £1000 it for two and a half months, but could you please sort it out soon.

I really hope this isn't a foretaste of how the distribution of the cars will happen.

Hold on in there guys, somthing must happen soon.

Too in your face I'm afraid as you will find out when you drive and park.

The more understated tit grey oozes quality of colour, shows all the lines best of all and does not suggest boy racer owner. Go faster stripe will look good on the red too.

Only joking but I must admit I did not pick the red because I felt that the shape and newness of the car would attract sufficient attention but if that is not a worry it is a great colour.

Nah, tit grey is a bit too dull for our UK weather conditions although it looks great under bright light. I also prefer mica to metallic paint.

Tit grey was however my initial choice, but the thing that put me off the most is that I dont like the all black leather interior it's just too sombre.

The red/black interior is a bit loud I admit, but at least it looks more special IMHO.

If Mazda had done a grey or black/grey insert leather then I may well have been swayed over to the tit side.

Im glad everyone has their own opinions, otherwise we would all be driving around in the same car and spec.

I'm with Mark W.

My choice from the beginning was Titanium Grey but when I found out that I couldn't have the Red/Black Leather combo, I switched as I feel it's as much of the car to me as the rest.

It may be boy racer-ish but if Ferrari Enza and Bugatti Veryon have Red/Black interiors, who can blame Mazda for putting it on RX8?

I've seen it so many times now, I'd be lost without it, in my honest opinion, it looks good and is "different" and certainly no "boring". JUST LIKE ME!

Cheers
OILMAN

Can' say that this doesn't look good!
