First of The UK Z's Have Arrived

Was browsing through the 350Z forum at http://www.350zuk.com/.

I see the first 350Z customer has just taken delivery of his car and very nice it looks too!

Interesting to see that many Nissan pre-order customers have been messsed about by NMGB in the same way people here have by Mazda.

Must be a new car industry standard!

Just been browsing on the 350Z forum, it seems they have had all the problems ref delivery etc.... as us guys. Just goes to show that the japanese have created some great cars recently, but can not cope with the world wide demand for them. If the 8 was a BMw or Mercedies for instance, I think the launch and everything else would have gone to perfedtion.

You probably wouldn't have to wait for a new beemer, due to the european overproduction there would be serveral airfields full of them on launch day. That and the fact that everyone hates the styling of the new 5 and 7 series, so aren't falling over themselves to buy them, when there are lots of alternatives such Mercs, Audis, etc.

The RX8 is unique, so there is bound to be excess demand. The 350Z is in a similar position (although unique as in uniquely ugly).

Cheers
